2010 Virginia Tech vs. Boise State Game

When do student tickets for the Boise State game go on sale?
Student tickets for the Boise State game will go on sale at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 15. Tickets will remain on sale through the student website until sold out, or April 9 at 4 p.m., whichever comes first.

Who is eligible to buy student tickets to the Boise State game?
Any current full-time Virginia Tech student who will also be registered for the Fall semester 2010 and students currently enrolled full time in the Study Abroad, European Studies Center, and the Cooperative Education programs who will also be registered for the Fall semester 2010, may purchase up to six tickets. Part-time students are eligible if they pay the optional athletic fee in the Spring semester and will be either enrolled full time in the Fall semester, or have paid the optional athletic fee for the Fall semester.

How do I order a student ticket to the Boise State game?
To order a student ticket, you must complete the on-line form. Click the link to Register for Season Tickets. You will be asked for your student number and your PIN to link to your on-line account. Your PIN number is going to be your four digit birth date formatted: MMDD. You must verify the address information provided, and may optionally include a credit card in your account for future ordering. Once registration is complete you will have to log in using the email address you specified during registration and the newly created password to place your order.

How much does a Boise State game ticket cost?
Lower Level student tickets in sections 109, 110, and 111 are $85.00 (limited quantity), and upper level student tickets in sections 409, 410, 411, 412, 413, 414 are $60.00 for the lower half of those sections, and $50.00 for the upper half of those sections.

Am I guaranteed a ticket if I place an order?
Yes. Once your order has been placed and you receive a confirmation, you will be getting tickets.

How is seating priority determined?
Seating will be assigned randomly within the price level you selected at the time of ordering. Keep in mind that lower level seating is limited.

What if I want to sit with my friends?

  1. Students will be allowed to purchase up to six (6) tickets per student account. This will allow the student to bring another student, parent, or friend to sit with them at the game.
  2. Due to the multiple price levels and the limited availability of seats in the lower deck for students, we will not be able to allow multiple student accounts to be grouped together.

When do I pay for my ticket?
Students will be immediately charged by credit card either $50.00, $60.00 or $85.00 for the cost of the ticket and a $5 handling fee at the time of sign-up. There are no refunds.

How do I receive my ticket?
Boise State tickets will be shipped via UPS the first week of August. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the address on file in the ticket office is correct. During the ordering process you will be asked to verify your address information. Make sure the shipping address you specify is a place where you will be able to securely receive UPS shipments between the dates of August 1st and August 15th. A permanent home address usually works best. Do not list a dorm address. The Athletic Ticket Office will not be responsible for tickets delivered to a wrong address. Replacements will not be issued. An additional $8.00 will be added to each order to cover the cost of shipping.
