2009 Kickoff Classic Student Lottery

Virginia Tech will open the 2009 football season in Atlanta's Georgia Dome against the Crimson Tide of Alabama. In order to manage the limited number of student tickets we recieve, it has become clear that a lottery will be necessary. Below, you will find the details of that lottery and the process that we will follow for assigning tickets.

Students wishing to purchase a ticket to the 2009 Chick-fil-A College Kickoff versus Alabama will need to register for the Chick-fil-A College Kickoff lottery.

Tickets are $30.00

  1. Bookmark this page. This is your gateway to the lottery process. Completely read the following instructions before continuing to the next page.

  2. Follow the link at the bottom of the page to be taken to the sign-up page.

  3. You will be asked to provide your Virginia Tech PID and your password. This will be checked to verify that you are in fact a full-time student at Virginia Tech or a part-time student that has paid the optional Athletic Fee. You will be required to check a box acknowledging the terms and conditions of the lottery.

  4. Once you check the box and click "register", you will be entered into the Chick-fil-A College Kickoff lottery.

  5. Your web browser will display a Sign-Up Confirmation page. If, for some reason, your information doesn't check out, you will be returned an error message instead of the Sign-Up Confirmation to let you know what piece of information wasn't verified and what needs to be done to correct it.

  6. Once the cut-off date has passed, the lottery will be run on all valid submissions. BEING SELECTED FOR THE LOTTERY ASSURES YOU OF A TICKET ONLY IF YOU COMPLETE THE ORDERING PROCESS BELOW!!

  7. Once the lottery has been conducted, each winning submission will be notified and provided a web link for the Chick-fil-A College Kickoff Student Ticket Information Page for ordering instructions.

  8. As always, the Chick-fil-A College Kickoff Student Ticket Information page will provide all the information necessary to place the order, set-up groups, etc.

  9. The lottery sign-up period will run from 12:01 am Tuesday, March 17th until Monday, March 23rd at 11:59 pm.

  10. The ordering period will run from 10:00 am Tuesday, March 31st until Friday, April 10th at 4:00 pm.

  11. Tickets will be assigned randomly.

THERE IS A LIMIT OF ONE (1) TICKET PER STUDENT.
