Student Ticket Policy: Individuals that sell or attempt to sell a student ticket for profit are in violation of Virginia Tech Athletics' student ticket use guidelines. Individuals that are found in violation of this guideline are subject to loss of ticket privileges.

It's almost basketball season again, and the Virginia Tech Men's Basketball team is getting geared up for another exciting season. Demand for basketball student season tickets has consistently surpassed supply. In order to fill request in the fairest method possible, we utilize a season ticket lottery. Below, you will find the details of that lottery and the process that we will follow for assigning tickets.

Students wishing to be considered for a 2011-12 Men's Basketball Student Season ticket will need to register for the season lottery.

Tickets will be $94.00

  1. Bookmark this page. This is your gateway to the lottery process. Completely read the following instructions before continuing to the next page.
  2. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to be taken to the sign-up page.
  3. You will be asked to provide your Virginia Tech PID and your password. This will be checked to verify that you are in fact a full-time student at Virginia Tech. You will be required to check a box acknowledging the terms and conditions of the lottery.
  4. Once you check the box and click "register", you will be entered into the season lottery.
  5. A Sign-Up Confirmation page will be returned. If, for some reason, your information doesn't check out, you will be returned an error message instead of the Sign-Up Confirmation to let you know what piece of information wasn't verified and what needs to be done to correct it.
  6. Once the cut-off date has passed, the lottery will be run on all valid submissions. BEING SELECTED FOR THE LOTTERY ASSURES YOU OF A TICKET ONLY IF YOU COMPLETE THE ORDERING PROCESS BELOW!!
  7. Once the lottery has been conducted, each winning submission will be notified and provided a web link for the Student Season Ticket Information Page for ordering instructions.
  8. As always, the Student Season Ticket Information page will provide all the information necessary to place the order, set-up groups, etc.
  9. The lottery sign-up period will run from 12:01 a.m., Friday, September 30th until Tuesday, October 4th at 11:59 p.m.
  10. The ordering period will run from Noon, Wednesday, October 12th until Monday, October 17th at 4:59 p.m.
  11. Student season tickets will be assigned at random within preferred areas of the student section.

THERE ARE NO GUEST TICKETS AVAILABLE TO BASKETBALL GAMES. ALL INDIVIDUAL PUBLIC GAME TICKETS ARE CURRENTLY SOLD-OUT. YOU CAN NOT CONVERT A STUDENT TICKET TO A GUEST TICKET.
